New Pokemon movie based on “Pokemon Red” and “Blue” games?

If to believe rumors which appear in the Internet, Chinese Legendary Studio is sure that their “Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu” movie will dominate Worldwide Box Offices. It is said that they are planning the next Pokemon movies inspired by “Pokemon Red” and “Pokemon Blue” games.

Both games were released on Game Boy in 1996 and became one of the most popular games for that console. The player in that games is a Pokemon trainer which starts his journey with one of the funny and cute creatures: Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. During wandering along Kanto land he needs to catch new Pokemon and fight with other trainers using his creatures, his mentor grandson or famous evil Team R.

Legendary Studio’s movie will take action in the same universum as “Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu” which appear in cinemas in May this year. But new movies will tell different stories and won’t be linked a lot with this year Pokemon film. It is said that plot is about to story from the games and combine real actors performing in the screen with computer animation.

It is said that Legedary Picture wants to direct Mewtwo movie.
